KROHNE is a major supplier of flowmeters and level measuring
equipment. The firm has
fourteen production facilities in ten countries, 41 KROHNE-owned companies
and joint ventures, and 45 exclusive representatives worldwide.
History
The origins of
KROHNE go back to 1921, when Ludwig Krohne began to produce variable area
flowmeters. In 1936, the
company moved from rented to company-owned buildings, which were later
destroyed during World War II. In
1949, Ludwig Krohne’s grandson, Kristian Dubbick, joined the company.
He oversaw the Krohne’s growth from a small company with a
workforce of eight people into a large flow measurement company.
In 1979,
Kristian Dubbick resigned as Managing Director and became Chairman of the
Board of Directors. A limited
partnership was formed, which is the basis for today’s company.
Today, Stephan Neuberger and Michael Dubbick manage KROHNE, which
is 100 percent owned by the Rademacher-Dubbick family.
